94 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will endeavour to have the promised vocational education amending Bill passed into law in sufficient time before the 1999 local elections so that there will be statutory representation for parents on vocational educational committees following those elections; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I intend to introduce legislation to amend the vocational education Acts which will include provision for parental representation on vocational education committees. I intend that this legislation will be enacted before the next local elections.
