120 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will reconsider the request by a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny to purchase a plot of land adjacent to his home which is the property of the Department of Justice. [3485/98]

The plot of land cannot be made available for sale as, due to the extension and provision of other facilities at the station, all of the existing site is needed for Garda use.
