Vol. 487 No. 6

Written Answers - Hospital Waiting Lists.

John Perry

Question:

202 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will have arrangements made to have a person (details supplied) put on the priority list for an operation in view of the family circumstances involved; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4836/98]

The provision of medical treatment to eligible persons is a matter for the agency concerned in the first instance. I have asked the chief executive officer of the hospital concerned to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly as a matter of urgency.
