Question:306 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation if funds have been or will be allocated to either Bord Fáilte or the regional tourism boards throughout the country in which there is representation of various interests, including local authorities; if funds are allocated on the basis of the requirements as outlined by the respective boards or whether a block grant is issued with the discretion for expenditure to be left with the authorities to whom the grant is made available; if his Department sets out any pre-conditions in respect of the areas or headings on which expenditure might be incurred; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
