120 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Defence if he will give details of the refurbishment of Columb Barracks in Mullingar, County Westmeath; the capital costs involved and the timeframe for completion of the project; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5077/98]

Refurbishment of the dining hall and construction of a new ration store and toilets at Columb Barracks are due to commence shortly. The duration of the work will be about 20 weeks. The laying of tarmacadam is in progress. That total cost of these works is about £200,000.
