Question:

173 Mr. M. Brady asked the Minister for Defence if he will give a breakdown of the number of vehicles in use by the PDF and the FCA. [5204/98]

The total number of vehicles currently in use by the Permanent Defence Force is 1,007, including troopcarrying vehicles, saloon/runabout vehicles, ambulances and a variety of specialised transport equipment. A total of 85 minibuses is allocated to An Fórsa Cosanta Áitiúil.
