Vol. 487 No. 8

Written Answers. - Special Education Needs.

Enda Kenny

Question:

109 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Education and Science if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 321 of 21 October 1997, he will give a possible conclusion to his efforts to provide education for a pupil (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5305/98]

I am pleased to inform the Deputy that the necessary arrangements to facilitate this person's education are currently being put in place with the assistance of the VEC. It is expected that the person will enter a mainstream second level school in his locality shortly.
