Vol. 487 No. 8

Written Answers. - Waste Water Treatment.

Bernard Allen

Question:

91 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will award costs to the Little Island Community Association for its involvement in the public inquiry into the proposal to locate a wastewater treatment plant at Carrigrennan, Little Island, County Cork. [5355/98]

At my recent meeting with representatives of the Little Island Community Association the delegation raised with me the question of a contribution being made towards the costs incurred by them in relation to the public inquiry. I indicated to the Association that I would have the matter examined. This examination is currently in hand and a decision will be conveyed to the association as soon as possible.
