Vol. 488 No. 3

Written Answers - Health Services.

Gay Mitchell

Question:

75 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will have the case of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12 examined in view of concerns expressed by his elderly sister that he would appear to need institutional care. [6025/98]

As the Deputy may be aware, the provision of health services in the Dublin area is a matter in the first instance for the Eastern Health Board. In this regard, I have asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate this case as a matter of urgency and respond directly to the Deputy with the board's findings.
