52 Mr. G. Reynolds asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources if he will quantify the amount of elvers released by the ESB on Lough Allen during 1997; their location and the dates this restocking took place. [6734/98]

While I have no statutory responsibility for the ESB I am advised that in 1997, it restocked a small unquantified amount of elvers in Lough Allen above Ballintra Gates in early June.
