Vol. 488 No. 5

Written Answers - Hospital Admissions.

Breeda Moynihan-Cronin

Question:

81 Mrs. B. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for Health and Children the plans, if any, there are to admit a person (details supplied) in County Kerry to the University Hospital Cork for treatment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6576/98]

The question of admission to Cork University Hospital in this instance is the responsibility of the Southern Health Board. I have asked the chief executive of the board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.
