98 Mr. Stanton asked the Minister for Social, Community and Family Affairs the guidelines, if any, his Department has issued internally or to any agency or body in relation to the use of the national flag and the European flag. [6592/98]
Instructions in relation to the flying of flags from buildings under the control of Departments are issued by the Department of the Taoiseach. My Department arranges for the flying of flags on specific occasions from buildings under its control, equipped with permanent flagpoles, in accordance with such instructions.
