154 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when payment of 1997 suckler cow premium will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick. [7197/98]

The person named was paid her 1997 suckler cow premium grants on 12 March 1998.

Michael Creed

Question:

155 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will receive her 1997 cattle headage payment. [7198/98]

In 1997 the person concerned declared a forage area of 6.5 hectares. However, when the area was digitised and validated against aerial photography an overlap with another holding was created. I have arranged for a map of the relevant area to be issued to the person concerned so that the problem can be resolved. When the map has been returned the case will be finalised and any outstanding payments should issue shortly thereafter.

Question:

156 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Kerry will be paid his ten and 22 month beef premium grants for 1997. [7199/98]

The person named applied for five animals under the January 1997 ten month special beef premium scheme and was paid the 60 per cent advance in respect of three of these animals on 28 November 1997. The application was the subject of a field inspection, following which two animals were deemed ineligible for premium.

The person named also submitted a further application for one animal under the March 1997 ten month special beef premium scheme and was paid the 60 per cent advance on 28 November 1997. A further 30 per cent advance is due to be made within the next two weeks, with the final balancing payments due in late April or early May.

Question:

157 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason a person (details supplied) in County Cork has not received his 1997 headage payment for 17 horses. [7200/98]

Maps have been received from the person concerned and the necessary digitising should be completed within the next two weeks. The processing of the area aid application will then be finalised and any outstanding payments will be issued.

Payments have already issued to the person concerned, £54.10 in respect of special beef premium and £702.80 in respect of cattle headage.

John Perry

Question:

158 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Sligo will receive his ten month premium for an animal. [7201/98]

The person concerned submitted an application for ten month premium in respect of tag No. CPZK0002G on 3 December 1997. This application has been fully processed for payment and the first instalment of 60 per cent amounting to £54.10 issued on 19 March 1998.

Jimmy Deenihan

Question:

159 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a headage grant payment will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7202/98]

The person concerned declared a forage area of 42.74 hectares on his 1997 area aid application form. However, one plot of land in the townland of Clieveragh has not been digitised due to the unavailability of a map outlining the plot. I have arranged for a map of the townland to issue to the person concerned. When the map has been returned, with the plot duly marked, it will be digitised and the processing of the application will be finalised. Outstanding payments can then issue.

Willie Penrose

Question:

160 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when an area aid payment will be made to a person (details supplied) in view of the fact that all the necessary documentation has been furnished; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7203/98]

Payments have issued to the person concerned in respect of cattle headage amounting to £3,360 and suckler cow premium amounting to £5,188.51. There are no outstanding payments due under these schemes.

Extensification payment is the only remaining payment to be made and this is due to be paid during May 1998.
