The area aid application of the person concerned has now been cleared and payment of the balance of his entitlement under the 1997 cattle headage scheme will issue within the next two weeks.
The person named applied for premium on one animal under the 1997 suckler cow premium scheme on 15 May 1997. However, since he has not established a suckler cow quota and my Department has no record of having received an application from him for quota rights from the reserve he is not eligible for payment under the suckler cow scheme.
