Question:169 Mr. M. Brennan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when area aid maps for 1996 and 1997 will be digitised for a person (details supplied) in County Sligo to facilitate his headage payments. [7212/98]

Maps have been received from the person concerned and the necessary digitising should be completed within the next two weeks. The processing of the area aid application will then be finalised and any outstanding payments will be issued.
Payments have already issued to the person concerned, £2,448.48 in respect of cattle headage and £2,019.31 in respect of suckler cow.
