227 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will examine an application made to his Department on 27 February 1997 from St. Patrick's residential unit, Kells Road, Kilkenny, seeking lottery funds of £30,000 for the purchase of a minibus with a lift to cater for wheelchairs and other uses; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7101/98]

I am pleased to inform the Deputy that a lottery grant of £20,000 has been made available to the Irish Sisters of Charity, St. Patrick's, Kilkenny for the purpose of purchasing a minibus.
