Question:240 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will have the case of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12 examined; and the steps, if any, he will take to ensure that treatment is given. [7318/98]

As the provision of the treatment in question to eligible persons in Dublin 12 is the statutory responsibility of the Eastern Health Board, I have asked the chief executive officer of the Eastern Health Board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly as a matter of urgency.
