Vol. 488 No. 7

Written Answers. - Local Authority Housing.

Pat Carey

Question:

299 Mr. P. Carey asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the amount of money made available to Dublin Corporation to construct senior citizen dwellings and carry out environmental improvements at Clareville Court, Finglas, Dublin 11. [7310/98]

The corporation has been notified of the number of dwellings which it is authorised to start or acquire in 1998 and of the capital allocation for its housing programme for the year. It is a matter for the corporation to decide on the individual schemes to be undertaken as part of its 1998 housing programme within the context of the allocation. It has not, as yet, submitted any detailed proposal to the Department in relation to a scheme at the location mentioned.
