Vol. 488 No. 7

Written Answers. - Schools Refurbishment.

Pat Carey

Question:

413 Mr. P. Carey asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will give sanction to tarmac the school yard at the Sacred Heart boys national school, Ballygall Road, Dublin 11, in view of the fact that it has been indicated that part approval would only be forthcoming; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7158/98]

An architect from my Department visited the Sacred Heart school recently to assess the current condition of the play area. A report on the matter is now being finalised and my Department will convey a decision to the school management as soon as possible.
