425 Mr. P. Carey asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will review the remuneration of the school secretaries at St. Kevin's boys national school, Finglas, Dublin 11 and St. Joseph's school, Ballymun, Dublin 11 to take account of the extra duties being performed by them in operating the teacher supply panel; and if he will make a statement on the matter. This matter is the subject of a claim from the union representing the staff involved and is under consideration at present in my Department. The issues will also be discussed with the union in due course as part of my Department's examination of the matter.
