The information requested by the Deputy is being compiled from records within my Department and will be supplied to the Deputy at the earliest possible opportunity.

Primary school staffing allocations for the 1998-99 school year have not yet been determined. The Deputy can, however, be assured that in reaching final decisions on this matter, careful attention will be focused on the needs of pupils with special needs.
