185 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the sources of funding within his Department for the upgrading of the road from Waterford city to Waterford airport; the proposals, if any, he has for making moneys available; and if he will make a statement on the matter. It would be a matter for the relevant road authorities, i.e. Waterford Corporation and Waterford County Council, to decide on the use of discretionary non-national road improvement grants for this proposed project or to prioritise an application for EU co-financed grant assistance.
