251 Ms McManus asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation if funding will be provided for the replacement of engines that are badly needed in view of the application made by the Wicklow Sub-Aqua Club; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8173/98]

An application from this group was received in my Department in January 1998 and will be considered when grant allocations are being made for the coming year in accordance with the criteria for awarding such grants as set out in the terms and conditions of the sports capital programme.
