118 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will examine the case of a family (details supplied) deserted by their mother, who need social worker support; and if he will ensure that it is provided. [8341/98]
The provision of child care and family support services to persons in the area in which this family resides is the responsibility of the Eastern Health Board. I have had my officials ask the chief executive of the board to reply directly to the Deputy on this matter as soon as possible.
