147 Mrs. B. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for Education and Science the situation in relation to the second stage of the community school in Kenmare, County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8346/98]

The contract for the proposed new community school in Kenmare, County Kerry has recently been placed and it is expected that the main contractor will commence construction in the near future.
