Breeda Moynihan-Cronin

Question:

54 Mrs. B. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs the reasons for the change in policy in relation to China at the UN Commission on Human Rights. [8186/98]

John Gormley

Question:

82 Mr. Gormley asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if he will provide details of his recent visit to China; and whether he gave to representatives of the Chinese government a clear and unambiguous statement of this country's concern regarding human rights in China. [8339/98]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 54 and 82 together.

I refer the Deputies to my earlier reply to Priority Question No. 13 on the human rights situation in China.
