The brucellosis reactor and depopulation grants due to the person named were paid recently.

Michael Finucane

Question:

95 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason for the delay in processing headage grants for a person (details supplied) in County Limerick in view of the fact that he submitted area aid documentation as requested. [8273/98]

The person concerned declared a forage area of 67.65 hectares in his 1997 area aid application form. However, three plots of land have not been digitised due to the unavailability of maps outlining the plots. I have arranged for maps of the relevant townlands to issue to the person concerned. When the maps have been returned, with the plots duly marked, they will be digitised and the processing of the application will be finalised. Outstanding payments can then be issued.
