Vol. 489 No. 5

Written Answers. - Intoxicating Liquor Licences.

Michael Ring

Question:

132 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the revenue from all special exemptions granted to publicans of intoxicating liquor licences for discos, hotels, club rooms and so on in each of the past three years on a county by county basis. [8424/98]

Court records are not maintained in such a way as to enable the information requested by the Deputy to be compiled without the expenditure of a disproportionate amount of staff time. The following table shows the number of applications for exemptions for licensed premises (including clubs) received over the last three years for which statistics are available, together with the total revenue received for those applications.
