607 Mr. Higgins (Dublin West) asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will provide a list of Irish officials who have had meetings with a person (details supplied); and the purpose of these meetings. [8915/98]

There is no record of any official in my Department having met the person concerned. I am aware that members of An Garda Síochána have met him regarding his immigration status in the State.
