756 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Education and Science the likelihood of imminent funding to establish a permanent training course at the Centre for Language and Communication Studies, Trinity College, Dublin; and the possibilities which exist for cross departmental support for this much required facility. The Higher Education Authority is at present in consultation with Trinity College, Dublin, on the proposal to establish a centre for deaf studies at the college. Following these consultations, a report will be furnished to my Department for consideration. The question of funding this development and the possibility of cross-departmental support will be considered at that stage.
