198 Mr. Higgins (Mayo) asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs if he will provide Deputy Higgins with a copy of the Institute of European Affairs' submission to the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Foreign Affairs in relation to the preparation to the committee's submission to his Department regarding the preparation of the White Paper on the Amsterdam Treaty. No submission was made to the Department of Foreign Affairs by the Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs regarding the preparation of the Government's White Paper on the Treaty of Amsterdam. The Deputy may wish to seek any documents submitted to the Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs directly from that committee.
