41 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources if he will ascertain, through the Central Fisheries Board. whether a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary is still registered as the holder of fishing rights in an area (details supplied) in County Tipperary. [9673/98]
I have arranged for the query raised by the Deputy to be referred to the Fisheries Title Research Unit of the Central Fisheries Board which may be in a position to assist the individual concerned. I would also suggest that inquiries with the Land Registry would be advisable in seeking to establish the ownership status of the fishing rights in question.
