250 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform when the new Garda station at Ballingarry, County Limerick will be constructed in view of the fact that a site was purchased some years ago for this purpose; and the date on which the completion of the purchase of this was made. It is proposed to build a new Garda station at Ballingarry. A site was purchased in 1994 for this purpose. It is not possible to say at this stage when work will commence on this project as it is subject to overall priorities and the availability of finance.
