Question:

200 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of occupational therapists based at each of the hospitals nationally. [10670/98]

The most recent information available is the Health Service Personnel Census taken at 31 December 1996. Information in respect of 1997 is being compiled by my Department at present.

The information requested by the Deputy on the number of Occupational Therapists (Basic Grade, Senior, Head I and Head II) and the acute hospitals at which they are based is as set out below.
