167 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will have arrangements made to have a person (details supplied) in County Sligo transferred to a nursing home in view of the circumstances (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10999/98]
As the Deputy is aware, the provision of health services in the Sligo area is a matter in the first instance for the North-Western Health Board. I have asked the chief executive officer of the North-Western Health Board to investigate this case as a matter of urgency and respond directly to the Deputy with the board's findings.
