478 Mr. Belton asked the Minister for Education and Science when he will sanction the refurbishment of Lanesboro community college, County Longford in view of the fact that the new extension is now being completed and an early sanction is required to bring the school up to the desired standard. My Department has received a request from the County Longford Vocational Education Committee to have the existing building at Lanesboro community college refurbished. This request is now being examined by the Department's technical staff. When the examination has been completed, the vocational education committee will be contacted.
