164 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources if he has satisfied himself that there was no impropriety of any kind in the transfer and sale of land to a company (details supplied) as has been alleged; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11799/98]

I am advised by the Secretary General and accounting officer of my Department, who has reviewed the relevant papers, that there is no evidence whatsoever to suggest that there was any impropriety of any kind in this matter.
