115 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Education and Science the situation in relation to progress made by his Department in ensuring that the application for additional accommodation for a school (details supplied) in County Westmeath is accelerated; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The design team of the school in question is currently preparing stage two — outline sketch scheme of this project.

Officials in the planning and building unit of my Department are endeavouring to ensure that this project will proceed through the various stages of architectural design as speedily as possible bearing in mind the complexity of the project and the necessity to achieve value for money.
