Question:183 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Finance when a tax rebate will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork. [14103/98]
Written Answers. - Tax Rebates.
I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that the Inspector of Taxes has reviewed the taxpayer's income tax liability for the 1997-98 tax year and has established that the taxpayer was not liable to pay tax in that year. A PAYE balancing statement was sent to the taxpayer on 12 June 1998 and the tax paid by the taxpayer will be refunded as soon as possible.
