Vol. 492 No. 4

Written Answers. - Health Board allowances.

Beverley Flynn

Question:

199 Ms Cooper-Flynn asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a person (details supplied) in County Mayo was refused a domiciliary care allowance; and if her case will be reviewed. [14040/98]

Assessment of entitlement to a domiciliary care allowance in any individual case is a matter for the relevant health board. Accordingly, I have referred the Deputy's question to the chief executive officer of the Western Health Board with a request that she examine the query and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
