235 Mr. Neville asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will outline the 1997 suicide statistics for both male and female persons on a county by county basis in relation to those under 18 years, 18 to 25 years, 25 to 30 years, 35 to 65 years, 65 to 75 years and over 75. [14372/98]
For reasons of statistical confidentiality, in accordance with the Statistical Act, 1993, the fully detailed breadkdown requested by the Deputy is not available. The information which can be provided giving a geographical and age breakdown of suicides is set out in the following table.
