316 Ms Fitzgerald asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation the proposals, if any, for legislation being prepared under the auspices of his Department that has not yet been published; and the statutory instruments, if any, being prepared in his Department. [13987/98]
The Sports Council Bill for the establishment of a statutory Sports Council and the Tourist Traffic Bill to amend the statutory limits available to Bord Fáilte Éireann to support tourism capital development works are currently being prepared in my Department. Both Bills are expected to be enacted before the year end.
There are no statutory instruments being prepared in my Department.
317 Ms Fitzgerald asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation the Acts and provisions of Acts under the auspices of his Department which, as of 1 June 1998, are not in force because a commencement order has not been made; whether it is proposed to make an order in each case; and, if so, when this will be made. [14002/98]
There are no Acts or provisions of Acts, under the aegis of my Department, which are not in force because a commencement order has not been made.
