171 Ms Cooper-Flynn asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive a response in relation to the farm retirement scheme which he applied for in September 1997. [15106/98]

Payment of the pension in this case will commence at the end of June 1998, retrospective to 4 March 1998, the date of valid application.
