Vol. 492 No. 7

Written Answers. - Medical Records.

Jack Wall

Question:

211 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a person (details supplied) in County Kildare has been deprived of her medical records by a Dublin hospital; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [14872/98]

The provision of medical records is a matter for the hospital concerned. I have, therefore, asked the chief executive officer of the Adelaide and Meath Hospital, Dublin, incorporating the National Children's Hospital, to investigate this matter and reply to the Deputy directly.
