279 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands when the release of the deeds of a plot of land (details supplied) in County Kildare will take place in view of the fact that the delay is causing problems for the family concerned. [14875/98]

The person concerned wrote to my Department on 4 June last inquiring as to the possibility of transferring his interest in a lease of a plot of land to another party. My Department has now responded to this request.

The question of releasing deeds of a plot of land does not arise.
