Vol. 492 No. 7

Written Answers. - Garda Deployment.

Tony Gregory

Question:

317 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if arrangements will be made to ensure that community gardaí pay particular attention to St. Bricin's Park Senior Citizen Complex, Dublin 7, and visit the residents there on a regular basis. [15166/98]

I have been informed by the Garda authorities that St. Bricin's Park is regularly patrolled by the community gardaí and by the Garda mobile units which are attached to the Bridewell Garda Station.

Recently, a Garda inspector, along with a community Garda for the area, attended a meeting with the residents, the neighbourhood watch area co-ordinator and a Dublin Corporation warden.

I am informed by the Garda authorities that the area will continue to receive appropriate Garda attention.
