360 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will confirm his Department's acceptance of the validity of the enrolment figures submitted to his Department on 30 September 1997 for St. Patrick's boys' national school, Mallow, County Cork, in view of the concession agreed in writing by his Department in May 1996; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am pleased to inform the Deputy that my Department has sanctioned the retention of the sixth assistant teacher's post at St. Patrick's boys' national school for the 1998-9 school year. The board of management of the school was recently informed of this decision.
