Written Answers. - School Staffing.
I assume that the Deputy is referring to the differing staffing schedules which operate for Gaeltacht schools and Gaelscoileanna.
Due to the significant resource implications I currently have no plans to align these schedules.
In light of the very significant contribution which Gaelscoileanna have made to the rejuvenation of the Irish language throughout the country, I am satisfied that it is appropriate that Gaelscoileanna receive special consideration in terms of staffing.
