77 Mr. M. Higgins asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of new applications for asylum received each month to date in 1998; the number of applications to be considered; the number of applications that his Department has accepted since 1992; the number of applications rejected since 1992; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
