335 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if his Department will approve the Gowran, Goresbridge and Paulstown augmentation scheme in County Kilkenny in view of the fact that the documents have been lodged with his Department for approval to go to tender; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Approval recently issued from my Department to allow Kilkenny County Council carry out advanced source protection works, which form part of this scheme. Given the high level of commitments under the water and sewerage services investment programme, I cannot say when it may be possible to advance the remainder of the scheme.
